Her background: A week after we moved into our home, my husbands sister asked if we could take her! Sure why not... we had never met her before but thats okay! She was very scared when we got her and if you just called her name she would pee on the floor! It was sad because she is SUCH a sweet girl. She loves to give kisses and loved to run with the kids. We don't know how old she was when we got her and we've had her for 5 years we also don't know what mix of breads she is.
A few months ago her nose went from black to raw and red. We took her to the vet, he said its and autoimmune disease. We started her on treatment antibiotics and steroids. We were told this might make it better she can live fine with her nose and ears like that but it would cause her pain.
Well in the past week she went from good to scary bad. Her nose is raw again and her ear's broken out again and now her paws are raw and bleeding. We went all day outside this was the first time she didn't greet us with a wet tounge and wagging tale. She didn't want to be around anyone and would snap at our other dog if he got near her! She's now having a hard time eating and getting up to walk.
She goes back to the vet this afternoon, and well I'm afraid she's just gotten to sick. We love our crazy licking dog!
